Extended shifter peg or aftermarket shift lever with longer peg.

So I’d like a shifter peg that’s about .5” to 1” longer than OEM. What’s the easiest way to achieve this? I think I read somewhere that the OEM shift peg is welded on to the lever. If that’s the case, will any of these aftermarket shift levers work well? Any suggestions on one that already comes with a slightly longer than stock peg?
