Gen1 vs Gen2 Shifter arm / lever

I'd like to repalce my shifter lever with something that's a little nicer to look at rather than the factory one.
I see alot on ebay and other sites, but they are all listed as Gen 1 units.
I checked the Suzukii parts listing and the part numbers are different.... but...

Are the shift levers different between the gen1 and gen2?
