Exhaust rust

Hi,

Anybody know what metal the Hayabusa Exhaust is made from? I have that light orange tinge of rust on my header pipes and was wondering what metal was under the black paint.

If it's stock I would guess it's steel. But, the steel should have been treated for anti rust. But miles and exposure to the elements will rust a pipe.

Sounds like an excuse (A very good one I might add) to get a NEW EXHAUST SYSTEM

Naw, this is just powdery rust, and is easily cleaned with a little WD40 , Just curious I guess.
