doesn't backfire on me, and I already had the P.A.I.R. removed when i put the full hindle on before so i wouldn't know. If you're curious and wanna try it just do the marble mod

Thrashers bike is ridiculous loud. When he starts it there is no doubt! Straight pipe Harleys have nothing on this ride! Rolling through Morrow Bay he was overpowering (at idol) my stocker and Lamb was 5 bikes back!

Running the open mids really didnt sound much louder than most cruisers with open pipes...I like the sound.......like a bumble bee on crack around 8k rpms

so by taking the cans off and only running the mid pipes it does not hurt anything? I have done the marble mod, do I need to do anything else?

I've run sans mid-pipes by just dumping from the header. Did it for a few weeks until I got tired of the noise..Sure it is fun for the first week or so since EVERYBODY looks at you.... But try riding for a few hours to some distant city like that everyday then you'll think about sticking your cans back on.
