Exhaust Mod

Talked to someone the other day on how to improve the sound of my akrapovic exhaust.

Take it apart, as if I was replacing the sound insulation, wrap thin steel around the first third or half of the inner pipe (the one with all the holes) and put it back together.

Supposidly that will make a HUGE difference in sound!!

The reason? When I start it, sounds like nothing, on the highway all I hear is the wind. The bike is so quite and smooth, I have to stare at the speedo, because I'm aways going way faster than it feels. My old 82 1100 Katana sounds amazing!! And near the speed limit, I can hear it.

P.S. And I love the sound of engines, if I drove a harley, it would be loud as hell!!

P.P.S. I don't drive late at night, so I'm not pissing people off anyway

Taking out the packing, would that give a Boomy sound?

I assume wrapping the inner pipe would have a more tuned sound??
