I'm having a run of bad luck or something. I've had bikes for years and never dropped one of them. My last bike was a honda blackbird and I rode the snot out of it for three years, and never dropped it. I've had my Busa now for less than 6 months and its been down twice.
Once in my drive, 0 mph and now on the road in the grass. The lower is on back order which is a good thing because I would have scuffed it up again. I was going down a road I haven't been on for about 6 months. They changed the end of the road since I was on it last. It used to come strait up to a stop sign that you could see for about a half mile off. It was a weird intersection that was kind of hard to see one direction. They fixed the hard to see part but now theres a 90 degree turn and then a stop so you can't see the stop coming down the road. Of course I was speeding late at night looking for the stop sign, and there it was. I hit the brakes, guess I got it slowed to about 40ish before I hit the grass. Went down on the right side and started sliding. Picked it up went home, started looking at it and noticed the tank has a dent in it. Not bad but noticeable and my knee hurts pretty bad so I guess I wacked it. Nothing else appears to be damaged that wasn't damaged on the first fall except the tank. Any ideas on pulling the dent back out without a body shop? If not I guess I'll be ordering a new tank as well.
