Does your gas tank "whistle???"

My 07 Bus made this high-pitch whistling sound that I could not figure out.  It drove me nuts because it would happen whether the bike had sat for days, or right after a ride.  Just a sof hi-pitched tone.  Finally tracked it down to the gas tank, opened the lid, and it made a quick whooshing sound and that fixed it.

Izzat okay??  Is there a vacuuum building up for some reason.  Bike runs great...s

Pressure release, its working correctly. Don't keep opening it and letting the pressure out.

Yup, normally happens when your fuel tank is in direct sunlight.

LOL when I brought the 2 ninjas in the other day from picking them up both tanks where howling. 30f. to 72f. will do that.

It is pretty normal. I have experienced it a couple of time over the summer when I head up north to get out of the heat in the valley.
