Does weight affect 60 foot time?

Ran a personal best (only been racing less than a month) 6.0 at 118 with a 1.5 60 foot. I was trying my ass off for a sub 6 sec run but it wasnt happening. I know I am being impatient and definitely need more seat time, but I see some guys in here cutting 1.3 60 foot times. With me being 230 (without gear) does that have any affect on 60 foot times or do I just need more practice? Thanks guys

a 1.48 60 should put you in the 5s
weight does make a difference in 60. if your bike is set up for your weight it will help and get as much seat time in as you can

these are some motor passes. 1430 true hand clutch bike weighs 470lbs

from what im seeing you have (2006 Black/1397/brocks/air shifter/nitrous/ etc race bike @ 68"). with this you will get there. just keep chipping away at that e/t and mph. it takes time blood sweat and tears...oh yeah and clutches lol...

Yes that's my set up. Not spraying yet, have to get used to the bike before I start messin with that lol. Thanks for the feedback bro. I appreciate it!
