I'd tell em to go ahead add $5k to the price, gimmie 30 more horses, loose 40 LBS, tweaked body, Digital Speedo, Onboard GPS, and finish up with a lot of attention to detail...  Better sidestand, pegs, Signals, Etc...

Then I'd say keep up the good work and here's my $15k in advance...

I agree with everything here but the digital speedo part, I prefer the analog one ... in your peripheral I find it easier to see where the needle is then try to look at the numbers and have them register in the brain.

The topic is what would you tell Suzuki about the 'busa - not which of you guys spend too much time alone.

Congrats to Revlis for trying to get back to the topic.

I really like my '03, but I would tell them:

Freshen up the body lines, add some wave rotors and radial brakes, get real with some color schemes, put some "good" wheels on it, drop some weight, add some horsepower, work on the frame & geometry to sharpen the handling, raise the price a little to cover the cost of the improvements and........ watch the orders roll in!

As for Suzuki ... The Busa is a great bike -but you screwed us on that starter deal. Also at 5 yrs old its time to go back and retool the busa-sharpen it up. give us more HP, we know about the 184 mph restriction.. You retool it, and we'll take care of that nasty little restriction problem
