DIY helmet visor tint

Thought I'd add in a useful thing I have discovered:
I have an HJC CL-Max that I got the chrome shield for, and yes it was expensive and yes, it got scratched on day 2 because they put the easily damaged reflective stuff on the outside surface instead of the inside.

When I got a 2nd CL-Max recently I kept the clear visor but started carrying a set of wrap around tinted safety glasses with me that our company keeps around in boxes. I find this solution a LOT better as:
1. You can take them off at night as riding with the chrome one is not good!
2. They cover your whole eye, so you don't get glare creeping in.
3. They are highly impact resistant so if you are riding with your chin guard up like I do in slow traffic sometimes, they will take one hell of a strike without breaking.
4. They are dirt cheap and optically damned near perfect.
