I would suggest putting the grab rail on when putting it on the rear stand unless you plan on putting it up after every ride. I have done it a couple of times with just the hump on and it's definitely a little scarier. I figure I will take the two minutes to put it on just so I dont have to spend $500 or more fix the fairing if the unmentionable happened.

I have to admit Revlis, I never would have thought of taking your mother in law for a ride. Totally unthinkable.

When my mother in law found out I had the fast production bike she insisted that I take her for a spin. She even wanted me to wheelie it !?!

So now when people ask my wife what made her crazy enough to marry me, I tell 'em she inheirited it.
