I used a dremel with a small grinder to do the cuts... The cuts were easy and only took about 20 minutes to get it right where I wanted it on both sides... To even it up, I just grinded on both sides until there was no rock in the kickstand when I wiggled it...

After I got the bike off the rear stand, I was amazed at how little it took to make the kickstand go forward more at the down side... I was measuring and I probably have another 1-2 inches of throw at the down side. Didn't measure the cuts, but they are very small, maybe a 1/4" guessing... The side-stand is solid with the mod and I can tell there is no need to worry about the stand collapsing or anything like that.

The bike definetly leans more and I think I will now require something under the kickstand on pavement with the extra weight if you know what I mean...

I am lowering the bike next week and with the kickstand throwing that much further forward, I think the bike will sit perfect for 2"back/1" front.

Let you know next week...
