I was wondering what the difference was on the cheap 1 piece suits versus the expensive ones.

Like, say you put on a $600 Alpine suit and then try on a $2,000 race replica....what would be the first 3 things you'd notice?

Thanks for any opinions!

Not sure if you've seen this video, hope it helps. Have not tried a race replica but I am guessing: better leather, better ventilation, better protection/armor

Thanks for the response/link. I've seen some reviews of cheap and expensive suits. I guess what I'm asking for is someone who has worn both to say, "Wow, this $600 1 piece feels like garbage compared to my $2k suit."

People who are selling the cheap ones say, "this is a great suit!" Ya right. If it's the quality of leather then I understand, but what about fit and longevity or other areas I might not notice from the reviews.

I do not think you can go wrong with a $600-dollar Alpinestars suit .

Check the STITCHING - a top quality leather suit will have TRIPLE stitching!!

Try to avoid any bike leather (so-called) safety gear that is only single stitched - first time sliding down the road it will come apart (....and a good chance your skin will come apart with it!!!)

JMHO...
