So while getting the bike ready I noticed the resavoir has a crack in it about 4" above the top fill line, obviously it needs replaced for my safety and cooling issues that will emerge.
My question is is there a good "aftermarket" resavoir I should go with, as a quick search came up with a lot of people having the same issues. I'm sure the bike being lowered and the rougher ride does play a role in it. So I wanted to see if anyone had some insight.
1) go with stock ressy and maybe add a couple rubber bushings to absorb more of the shock.
2) aftermarket if they are available.
3) modify my own resavoir out of a aluminum overflow off "fle bay".
I have no problem buying a oem but if it's going to be a reoccurring issue every couple years if rather find a "permanent" solution.
I also did search and came up with a lot of topics and feedback just not direct answers fwiw
Thanks in advance- Adam
