Converting boat trailer to a Busa Hauler....

anyone converted a boat trailer to a MC hauler?? ive got a boat trailer and just need to make a floor for it...pics in a min.... anyone got any idea about how you would go at it? im thinking some diamond plate bolted to the frame with some more bracing added...gross weight for the trailer is 1519

i would wack off the boat rollers and stuff. then you can either use 1"ply or some expanded metal to make your platform. add a harbor freight wheel chock and a milk crate full of straps. there ya go :thumbsup: boat to motorcycle trailer:beerchug:

looks way do able. i look forward to seein how it turns out.

VannWray did. Works out well for a short hauler. He just made it a flat trailer and use 2 x's for the decking. But now he has upgraded to a 7 x 16 enclosed, so not sure about longivity.

I did it and love it, it is my around town or with the Tahoe trailer can fit 3 bikes no problem...I will post sum pics asap
