Update,

The tires still grip great and warm up fast.

They have over 4500 miles on them.

But, the rear is down to the wear bars in the center, too much commuting...

The pilot powers got up to 5800 miles before reaching the wear bars.

So my opinion,

The continentals grip and warm-up just as good as the powers.
The continentals are cheaper.
The pilot powers last longer.

So there you guys go

When money's tight, I'll go Conti 190/55.
When I can afford to, I'll try the PP2ct 190/55.

Jeeez,

Just try'in to pass along some info.

Different tires was the point.

Same bike, same rider, pretty much the same type of riding.

Take it or leave it

Thanks Charles. Dont be afraid of the Maxxis supermax. I'm on my 3rd set and love them. Just got a set.....2 tires, shipped to my door for 175 bones. Great wear and never had an issue with traction. I would love to hear your comparisons.

They do make a 190/55, I like that. Its possible I could try those, but if money isn't an issue I'll be getting PP2cts next
