The tree line at the peak, and lack of trees several feet past that, was a hard clue that the soil ended where the trees do. The area between the trees and the apparent peak of snow indicates the drift zone.

Beaches aren't too good up where i'm from, too many crocs and box jelly fish but there are plenty down south where you can go.
