Clean up time.

I picked up a motorcycle cleaning kit that shows a rather different approach
to getting the thing really clean. is there a proper way to clean this plastic coated bullet? Ideas Welcome.

Take mine to the carwash & power spray it off w/ degreaser, soap, rinse.

I skip the wax mode at the carwash & do that at home - Honda Polish

Honda spray cleaner is good between washings. It is great for wheel touch-up after every ride.

Use a spray bottle with water in it. A little simple green for the metal parts. Some wax now and then and you're good to go. Wash from the top down. Change rags before doing the bottom.

simple green/water/bucket-o-soap/leaf blow dry. not in any specific order

Non ammonia Windex, Simple Green, Plexus and Back to Black is about all I ever use. Doesn't see water unless I'm riding when it rains.

I use Plexus....... No water...ever.....unless it's raining...then it's a bunch more Plexus....

Garden hose, bucket of soapy water, more garden hose, micro fiber towel dry. Short ride to finish the dry if I'm putting it up for a while, or otherwise down the road I go. Occasional wax and Plexus for quick front end bug removal and cleaning the windscreen.
