sup guys im up in the air on which route i wanna go with my calipers..i wanna go chrome but then im hearin they change colors over time from the heat is that true???if so then ill wind up goin black...what u guys think...ill add a pic of my bike so u can see what im workin with...

Black and forget about them. Make sure you have a good chromer,they can ruin them where pistons are. You do have a chrome theme going,but the calipers don't stand out to much as is. Front forks are black also,so will match them. seat is black,mirrors is black. So really won't look out of place.

If the seat and mirrors are staying black then black it is for the calipers.

I went through 2 sets of Chrome Calipers could not get them to not leak, Im sure there out there that dont leak but I stopped looking and went with Black.

Very happy with them

alright thanks for some input looks like im gonna head toward black i dont wanna deal with leaks on calipers...i am changin to chrome mirrors over the winter but leaving for legs black so ill hit up black calipers...

I actually picked up a set of black powder coated calipers for mine that I have not fitted yet. Currently the bike has the factory gold ones that I went over with a wire brush end on a drill. They have a relatively shiny silver look now. We'll see how the black looks:

I have to buy the caliper seal kit (which is pretty pricey BTW) before I fit them, should be soon. Been pouring all my $ into the GT250R & VFR800 recently :(

If you look carefully BTW, you will see that I already painted the rear brake support bar black too.
