One of these days, these morons are going to kill a bunch of people. Actually, I think they already have . . . .

I avoid Chinese-made products like the plague. Not because I don't like Chinese people but because products made in their factories are quite often problematic in one way or another.

Counterfeit product
Poor quality product
Product made by child labor
Patent infringed product

Etc.

Obviously, there are going to be exceptions to the rule but when it's something as minor as toothpaste, you run the risk of killing a bunch of people.

Sometimes, people laugh at me for my avoidance of Chinese products but jeez. How much more damage do I have to promote by supporting such problems?

I used to go ahead and settle for a Made-in-China product if I absolutely could not find an alternative but I'm getting to the point of not buying anything if I know it came from a Chinese plant.

Anyone else's opinions?

An open tube of crest will not tell you where it was made

Can they not tell you the toothpaste that is made in China?

This scare is about 3 weeks old.

I am right there with you...I have put back products that were made elsewhere in place of something made in USA. But in these times it is hard to find something made in USA.

I only try to buy Stuff made in the Good Ol USA but like Blue said it is hard cause every one want to out sourse there labor to foreign countries cause they don't want to PAY an American an honest wage so he can support his family. Sorry guys

It's same old story. $3 can opener from China that breaks in 6 months, or
$10 can opener made in the USA that lasts 10 years.
Hmmmm......life is all about decisions. Small ones made from moment to moment, collecting like drops of water in a bucket.
