Now that you are looking how come no one uses perimeter brakes? I mean I have seen them but it does not seem very popular at all. Just wondering?

never seen them on anything than a buell and custom built bikes

the design is flawed..... as of yet, they do not provide such improvement as to justify the price.

They require tons of special hardware as well. You cant just retrofit em to your bike. Special rim, fork lowers etc. If they worked as described MotoGP or some other top line racing organization would be using them, none are at the moment. I think Buell uses them as another way to differentiate his bikes more than anything.
