Check out this Russian concept bike

It does look cool, and has airbags:thumbsup:

Cool lookin bike for sure, but I would like to see if they actually put the bike into production.

Heres the weapons factory Izmash Weapons Factory - Izhevsk, Russia

Ever seen a tank hanging from the ceiling !
Been there, food sucked but the factories were incredible old world !

Damn might be the worlds first indestructable bike if they put the same craftsmenship in this bike as they do their weapons

It says handlebars vibrate to warn of potential collisions:rofl: I bet that makes for a ruff ride!

Someone did a terrific job in either Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, or Vektorworks. I guess it's the latter. Pie in the sky.

A lot of motorcycle companies have designs planned for 5 years into the future, but they are kept under wraps.

Izh motorcycles have been around for almost 90 yrs.
Many were in service during WWII and some from then are still running.

Heres their website.
Bulletproof design that only needs 'big hammer' from tool kit for maintenance...

This is a real bike used in Siberia that can float over soft tundra and water..SAMSON model.
It is as it comes from factory..

Never knock the Russians. All things they make are so much more simpler than our stuff and EVERY BIT AS COMPETETIVE.
Remember they were first to invent and incorporate thrust vectoring in their MiG Series of planes and now billions later we copy !

I'd like to know more about the "magnetic brakes".

Brakes are the only component not awesome on a Busa, IMO.

What motorsport do they dominate in? I must have missed it.

Uncle Steve I made no inference they did dominate Motorsports .
I only said things they make in same category would be simpler and just as good .
Compare a cruiser style bike to one of their current cruiser bikes and it's just as good . Your average Harley or Honda cruiser may have more bells and whisltes but neither will last as long .
Compare a Mig 31 to one of ours and it costs half and is alot easier to maintain.
I am very familiar with miltary items most especially eastern euro and Russian items .
Their stuff might not have multimillion dollar super comps in them but they will still stay right with our stuff .

Sorry if it sounded like I was saying they dominate Motorsports .
They the Russians have never really been an in public competing kind .
Just make super durable long lasting things that keep going and going .

I guess the field of Motorsport they do dominate is common cars in eastern Europe .
Russian cars are all over rural parts because as mentioned it usually takes very little to fix it or work on them .

There are many talented individuals there. However, as a socialist country they have failed and will fail to produce a truly mass and reliable product at a reasonable cost of R&D/production. The are few exceptions of course. However, what many do not realize that the few known and truly successful products they developed was done at the enormous cost - which the government doesn't/didn't/won't care about. This factor is magnified by a lot for military related products - many government companies masked as some sort of special companies were and are actually working for the military.

It's a strange country with many kind and talented people, with many drinking people, with many intellectual people, with many proud Russians, etc., with many who somewhat lost sense of logic and common sense.

That's why I am here, and not there if you know what I mean. Like a bad dream...

Things changed there seemingly for the better in the past decade, but I am still sceptical about long term.
