Misplaced my manual and online google search proved futile. How long do I plug the unit in for a full charge? Used it for the first time today and the battery died after 2 hours. Was told to drain it down and recharge it for optimal performance but I don't wanna overcharge it. Guidance appreciated

Check with busahaya or Charlesbusa.....they are pretty sharp with Chatterbox info

8 hours. I think thats what the book said. sounds right anyway

Found the book... WOO HOO! Book says initially discharge the battery then apply a charge for a full 14 hours. I do not know if that is the recharge time or just the battery conditioning time.

Yes, that sounds right... Did mine 16hrs and drained it repeat this process two more times! Now you should never have to go through that again! should last most of the day depending on how much your talking, listening to music, etc...
