Changing the clutch fluid

I was changing the cluthc fluid today per the manual. I bled it through the bleedoff valve. Is this how I'm supposed to drain the old fluid? I only got a trickle each time i would do it. How do I build pressure again?

Just changed mine with a buddy, Diesel, the other night w/out a vacuum bleeder and it took forever manually. Just keep pumping, refilling the reservoir w/ DOT 4 and pumping and bleeding it out until all the air is out and the pressure will come back. Took a long time but eventually it came around.

wow, my 05 had 44k on it with original clutch fluid..

also original coolant and all others except oil.
when was i supposed to do this?

Thanks.  Is it going to be the same with the brakes??
Yes, but if your going to bother to change your fluid just get new front SS brake lines and EBC HH pads. $75 for the Galfer fronts at Cycle Gear and $25-30 x 2 for brake pad sets can be found. Night and day in the braking dep't.
