maybe someone can help me. i have an 02 busa and at 2000 miles i had a 1397 kit installed. about a hundred miles later the engine starts rattling i bring it back and the mechanic adjusts the cam tentioner, within a few miles its rattling again so i bring it back for another adjustment a third adjustment and he says give it a few hundred miles. same s*it happens and now im pissed and tell him to take it out and its friggin ground down a half inch. he tells me its titanium and it should have been steel and he has a replacement shipped and changes it and all is good for awhile but 600 miles later its needing another adjustment and i call and he tells me i should get a self adjusting tentioner and that will clear up everything for a little more then a grand.
i havent done anything about it and could use some tech advice , has anyone with the bore kit ever had this problem? what is a self adjusting tentioner and how much should it cost?
