cabon fibor tank covers

I'm about to order this tank cover?

has any one got it?

will the carbon fiber on the side scratch up (they clam it to be real caron fiber? )

or should I go with just the all leather one"s?

I got mine from Denniskirk for $34. It is real carbon fiber and I have had no problems.

Go to an auto body supply store. Ask for RhinoGaurd. It is made from 3M. It is clear and you can cut it any way you want. That way your paint won't fade and nothing will get under it to scratch the tank. When it yellows, mostly from applying wax, just use a hair dryer and peel it off. They use this stuff on Porsche's. I find it so much better than putting tank gaurds on.
