busa

squeeze with your knees, arch your back kind of sticking your butt out....helps if the abs are in shape, I start really working them hard about 60 days before the full swing of riding season. Also, the machine that works the inside of your legs has helped me a bunch. Plus, ya get to hang around that area of the gym and watch the girls do it. (is that wrong?)

Get in shape.  Don't put any weight on your hands.  Gotta stay LOOSE out there!

Wanted to suggest leg presses. I don't lean on my hands, I use my legs. also, don't lock your elbows, it cuts circulation off to your hands. One other thing: the faster you ride, the more the wind helps to support you. Just don't slow down.

All very true. In addition to the wind keeping you upright, the inertia of acceleration does wonders to get your weight off your hands and keep you loose.

So, go as fast as you can, always, to keep the pressure off your wrists!
