busa engines vs GSXR engines

how different are the busa engines vs the older gsxr engines (2000-05 years)? Reason I ask is the busa I'm working on jumps out of second gear at high rpm's. I called one of my buddies who has fixed a bunch of 600 and 750s, but he's never done a busa. He said as long as their pretty much the same style it would be a walk in the park for him to fix. I would just have to pull the motor and give it to him.

Sounds like you're dawgs are barking....so to speak....disconnect the loom, exhaust, cooling system, fuel line, engine bolts, chain, and she's out-of-there.......
