HI all, newbie here and had my busa nearly a year now.
My busa low level fuel light doesn't seem to work. When I turn the ignition on the light will work when the clocks etc go through the self test but the light don't work when low on fuel. The gauge itself works fine. Anyone have any ideas for me before I remove the sender unit? Am I going to have to buy a new sender unit? Cheers.

Being 2000 and all, try unplugging and re-plugging connector(s). There is a small chance you got a poor connection. Other than that and considering the fact that the light itself works fine, all suspicions fall onto the sender unit. Not sure how it works. Is it some sort of float? Maybe it just got stuck...

I only have 2 wires from the sender unit and thought if the light worked from it a 3rd wire would be needed. I know the float works the gauge (which works fine). Was hoping someone knew where the light wires to before I start pulling her apart.
