BTO-15 Front & BTO-21 Rear

Well the original BTO15 is at the wear bars at 3500 miles and as usual the fronts still in good shape. I was thinking about putting the BTO21 on the rear for some extended mileage over stock.

I have read allot about the poor mileage out of the front BTO21 and will not go that route. Just want another rear to get 5K+ out of and would prefer to stick with Bridgestone until the front needs replaced then go with another brand at that point like Avon or Michelin.
I have no problems with the stock 15's just want more miles out of a rear. Lots of guys run a sport tire up front with a ST tire on the rear on similar heavy bikes with good results.

Anyone running this combo?

my dad is going to do this combo, im sure it will work fine

. im actually running a pirelli diablo strada on the rear of my 08 and the bridgestone that came on it up front and the bike handles awsome, i too will run a sport tire up front with a high milage tire in the rear.

I don't think you will have any problems with this combo. I ran a BT-10 on the front & a BT-20 on the back of my Bandit 1200 with no problems.
