no man you do not need to go anywhere helmets are good for you they protect you that could be one explanation you could make to her I have the same problem, you just gonna have to find a story for each helmet that justifies the purchase

DAMN--it's driving me crazy--I've got this brand new helmet and it's 29 degrees out-- and wet, rainy, snowy, weather. I can only walk around inside the garage wearing it for so long!
