I'm on level 17 and I'm stuck.

Once you get some cash saved up you can do "the challenge" on the main screen of the game.

No real trick that I know of. Any connector, walkway, etc will connect to any other connector walkway that is in reach. They will only connect at the ends or where the circle appears though.

I'm stuck on 21 you don't have enough money to get the bridge high enough to stop the boxes from falling through and it's makeing me mad

Go back to simple and basics on level 17...just use the wood walk way with no support at all and the "swinging" bridge actually supports the weight~!~
