I have the BB Storm kinda stuck with it. Stay away from the phone it has been really disappointing purchase, phone keeps freezing up. And has all kinds of software problems.

Storm1 sucks, the storm two is better, but there is "supposed" to be a new one that kills them both.

I had the world phone, curve, and tour... the tour being the best of the non-touch BBs.

If you buy one, try to get one with the optical mouse and not the track ball, that was a great upgrade.

You certainly have to get used to the OS coming from a regular phone.

I would send you one of mine but they all have security software from my work on them.

the BB Storm l and Storm ll both suck. Ive been through multiples of each. The phones keep freezing, wont stay connected to my gmail and work emails, but stays connected to a 3rd account. If I put it on vibrate only, it rings when it wants to. The storm ll has a problem with deleting emails/texts as I type them, and they dont recognize when I flip it sideways to type...I keep call and ******** @ VZW and they send out "like new" units to replace whatever model I have at the time.
I hope the rumors are true and Apple puts the iPhone out in June to other providers...

The stormII was suppose to have fixed those issues.

When I bought mine they uploaded the software for the storm 2 they said it was supposed to fix the storm 1 issues he said it was basically the same phone with a little better hardware an much better software.

All I can say is they lied to me to make a sale.. So they got me for a couple of years with the hustle but they lost a customer, one that has been loyal to them for over 12 years... Way to go sales team :cheerleader:

So for the thread jack there final comment on the storm ... sorry

I have a BB curve and love it. I haven't really had any problems with it. Every now and then the facebook app messes up, but I don't think that has anything to do with the BB, I think it's on FBs end. That's the only problem it's ever had for me.

Those Droids are supposed to be really neat phones....but I am under contract and they want $500 for one. In this economy.....who has an extra $500 for a cell phone?!

BB Tour - Love it

I have an old Blackberry, but I'm not sure where the battery cover is. You're welcome to it if you still need one. Let me know and I'll dig for the cover.

i love mine as well. camera is terrific.

I've got the storm and don't use it fully since I can't spend the time to figure out how to sync with my Outlook calendar. I had to go back to the store for them to do the initial install but since then I've been able to do the updates myself. I love the camera and MMS feature is better than the iphone. The iphone seems to have all sorts of apps. The latest upgrade on the BB had to be done from the computer and now the numbers scroll like a jackpot in a casino - similar to the iphone. I had the Razr before this and the BB is way cooler.

BB messenger is new... I don't use it since I use txt and mms and haven't read up on it.. but I do have it.

I use the Navigation alot.. only 9.99 a month so it's cheaper than buying a GPS and one less piece of equipment to buy. I love the Radio feature which is new.

BBM is nice for a few reasons. One is that it doesn't count as a text. So if you have a text as you go plan, you can BBM without any additional costs. The second thing is that it is secured. Only the BB pin that you send the message to can get that message, unlike normal texts.

True that BOFK, and it sends media a lot easier than MMS... I was just curious.
