Bent shift fork?? or other problem??

I have a buddy with an '07 YZF600. Problems started after he bought it with hard shifting, now it won't come out of 1st at all. 12000+ miles on the engine.

Is this a symptom of a bent shift fork or worse...or less? Anyone know the approximate repair cost to have something like this fixed?

i would suggest doing it urself, i can get u a manual and let u know if there are any recalls on any parts if u can pm me the vin
