backfire solutions

Does anyone know if the marble mod is as an effective way to fix the old backfiring issue as the pair valve mod?? It seems a lot easier to plug up the line with a marble:cookoo:

I did the marble mod (w/my girlfriend laughing at me) She stopped laughing when my exhaust stopped backfiring. It works.

I did the marble mod this summer and it made a huge difference. There is still some very slight backfiring when coming off of a very hard throttle run, but much better.

I bit the dust and did the whole pair removal with Brocks Block off plates. I have to say that it seemed kinda funny for the first few times of riding that it didn't backfire! Seemed like something wuz wrong!!

I told my wife I was doing the marble mod and she told me she thought it was supposed to be a sock but have fun just the same.
