Anyone have experience w/ spray on truck bed liners?

Also if you get the spray-on....pay the extra $100 or whatever to get it sprayed over the rail. It's worth doing.

Brandon.... asked the same in post #11? Were they able to get you a nice straight edge line down the rail? That's the only part about getting those done that makes me nervous.

I just used this brand u-pol $100 for 4 qts / cataylst and the gun to shoot it. It was easy to mix and spray...low psi and very little overspray. You could get away with a 6" paper taped edge on the side of the bed. There are many brand choices and place to buy from so look around. Some tint/alarm detail shops many do the bed liner as a service that is covered for the life that you own it..meaning from year to year you could get it touched up or redone at not cost. diy is likley the cheaper route...prep is key...power wash it and do a good wipe with prep sol or some other wax/grease remover...a few times...then blow it out and shoot the bed liner.

We have a Rhino liner on our tow truck bed an it still looks great, we are constantly an daily throwing the chains on an dragging them off the bed an it's holding up well no chips in it yet after a about 3 years.

Id like to do a spray or roll on in my personal truck but I havent so far. However my company truck has a line x bed line and it is extremely durable. I tore the bed liner in one place but havent had it back to the dealer for a repair yet.

Color was more. Plus I had some kind of sheen added that gave it a life time warranty on shine. Never is supose to dull.

Plastic bed liners are imo are not quite as effective as the spray on liners. As busaman said the "rhino" type linings last a long time. The big problem with the plastic liners is water can get behind them. I've seen a couple of guys pull there plastic bed liners after years and there beds are rusted over.

I have used the spray in's from Anchor sales and they worked great, I would use no other option...no fading and almost pretty enough you don't want to "throw" anything in the back~!~
