Anyone else use a camera mount of there bike?

I was wondering if anyone else uses a camera mount on there bike? I just picked up this unit that LP sells. I got it as an end of the year sale. If anyone else is using the same unit. Are you using a back up strap just incase the mount becomes loose? Or do I not have to worry about that? I havent tried the camera mount yet. Been too cold here in MD to give it a try.

One more question if anyone is using the same mount. Where did you get the screw to mount onto the camera? The tripod does not supply a screw.

I made my own, works fine, but now I crack my vid base on the vidcam itself

Those pics, were right after I made mine.

Narcissus, brush finished & rounded the edges on mine, it looks better now.

Oh, the cutout in the foam is for the side LCD screen to open/close, it wouldn't close right before I trimmed it.

You should be able to get that screw at any camera shop. As for the strap I think I would try to come up with something. I would hate to see your camera go sliding across the road it the suction cups decide to let go.
