Another Sunday Ride

Here are some pics of another Sunday ride into the mountians to escape the heat. Once again I stopped to wait for the others, so I decided to take pics of them going by.
This is the group gathering up at the Santa Ana Casino's parking lot.

There was 14 bikes and 19 persons along on this ride.

We showed up to eat at this Cafe to eat and took the whole place up. this is us in the foreground and all the way to the back table is us as well.

This is the Valles Caldera, dormant Volcanoe that when it errupted it shot rocks the size of houses into Oklahoma. The house in the pic is about 2 miles from where we were. They say its approx 6 miles across and 8 miles wide or something like that, not sure if the numbers are really correct, but the valley is HUGE (with NY accent).

It was a great ride and we all had a blast. Someday I am going to have to get some sports bikes in on these rides, but as of yet no one takes me up on them.

Yup, on Hwy 550 its pretty much staight the whole ride up to the canyon. I stretched her legs a lot this day and then took the time to wait and take pics. CrazyCowboy (Honda 929) and I were the only sports bike this time around and well, lets say we were waiting alot on the others. Sometimes we even went back to look for them and then turned around and passed them. It was a fun day and we all had a great time.
