Airbox Mod?

Johhny, I have a question: forget about power. My bike has only RS3 zyclone slip-ons. The airbox mod seems to affect only low rpms because that's when the flap is closed, or is it restricting when open as well? Does the airbox mod make the bike run smoother that with it? and finally, what settings do you need to dial with a yosh box for my set-up?

It won't on a dyno due to no ram air.
on the strip it added 4 mph in the 1/4 no other mods

There are MANY here who have gotten quite good result on the dyno with the air box mod.
And thats without "ram air".

johney cheese have you done any remaping useing the yosh box with the akrapovic exhaust ? if so what seting do you recomend, any help would be appreciated. thanks burt you can e-mail at xlr8in@msn.com

I was talking to tech support at Dynojet today, and they told me that their dyno indicated no change in horsepower with or without the airbox mod. Does anyone have definitive proof, that the mod adds horsepower?

Any feedback would be appreciated.
