airbox mod question.

Hey guys so i finally got around to doin the small airbox mod today and im stumped on what to do with the
flapper valve hose. For now i just put the valve back in place and plugged the hose back into it until the answers from the pros come in...
So my question is do i remove the hose and solenoid thing al together??

Can I keep the flapper valve in n plug the hose instead of removing flapper valve n covering the hole?
