trying to do some research before I purchase a full exhaust, I am interested in finding out who makes the lightest weight full exhaust for the busa, Im thinking it will be something of the titanium/carbon fiber combination.

Would also like to know the difference in decibles the systems make if anyone has this kind of info please help me out, thanks!

Akro Ti Evo with the Carbon fiber can! This system is so light that it just blew me away when the Fed-ex guy delivered it! The sound is awesome, the midrange pull stomps.

muzzy ti or even the stainless with aluminuim cans are like 8-10lbs. Why be worried about spending much more than them to lose a few (ie: single digit) pounds?

It is more logical to either focus on making more hp to gain power to weight ratio or buy a lighter biek to begin with. You do realize that the new liter bikes make as much if not more hp than a busa right?

YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!

This system has everything! Looks, weight savings, build quality, fit, and VERY nice HP and torque gains everywhere in the RPM range.

No noticeable weight difference between the carbon and TI can.

The sound is a nice throaty rumble, yet less decibels than most aftermarket systems so your neighbors don't hate you and you can still run it at tracks with decibel restrictions.

BROCK, is the best all around pipe for my personal use. Pretty much most of the top of the line full systems exhaust are close in performance, a good turner could make anyone of the top five pipes perform over another pipe with a custom map (DYNO), just depends on their experience.  Its really all about what you're wanting. Make a list and narrow it down to what you really want it to have.........loud pipes, carbon fiber, bling status, a double or a single side exhaust, road ,or drag racing etc.

High mounts mufflers are probably what you want to consider for scraping you knees, hitting the twisties hard. A short cut pipe like a Brock MEGAPHONE or a MUZZY pipe for Drag racing. I like to do a smidge of everything listed above on the street, nothing serious but you get  my point. I have a  TITATiUM Gen III street Smart exhuast by Brock DAVIDSON. What really make his producsts stand out from the rest is his customer service. I just purchased my a high polish Titatium full exhaust system last yr. During the previous 6 yrs I was lookig(dragging my feet) I never read or heard anyone say or print anything negatively about Brock personally or his product, that right there says a lot. Along with that he's a biker that use to race motorcycles, and now produces his own product with extensive research and testing (inhouse and on the track). He also offers an online forum for Q/A, member correspondence, etc.  And a special member area for his customers, And recieve discounts on all other products he sells.
You don't have to worry (emailing, pm'ing or even phone calling everyone you know that has a map) about what map will work best with your setup like I see with others that have purchased other brands. He has  thorougly researched ,tested (in house and on the track) and put together the best MAPs for his systems for various speed enhancement you could possibly want to add on to your bike. Usually he respond's with'n 24 but its usually lesser.

If you're not a serious racer or trying to make money at it, it  probably doesn't really matter what slip on's or system you get, just make sure its suited for your type of bike or you'll probably notice some pwr loss.
Brocks maps used with his systems will get you as close as a good turner can do, for free if you decide to go with a brock.

all good advice here, +1000 on getting engine tuned if you get a full system. You DO get what you pay for tho too-buy some slip-ons, n you X hp...buy a full system n a PCIII n get a good map, n you get X hp +5-10more....

just thought I'd drop this pic on ya for those wondering how light TiForce really is....
