My rule is: After Memorial Day, no more crash posts! It's time to ride and be merry.
Oh and just food for thought:
These pricks have no respect for the people that support their little hillbilly town.
Why do we continue to hold the Bash and spend money there year after year?
Surely there must be other great spots just far enough away from Deals Gap.
It wouldn't beyond comprehension that if someone, god forbid, die on the Dragon, the pigs
would staple a ticket to the toe tag as well.

Just for the record I believe it was the North Carolina Highway Patrol that investigated the accident. There are no towns on the Cherohala Skyway. The only thing I can rationalize is that the trooper felt he had to issue the ticket because Jimmy was heading to another state (Tennessee) for treatment. I still think the way it was handled is ridiculous. Taking care of the injured should be the priority...the administrative stuff could be handled later. Just my .02.
