A lil trip north

Weather permitting (no torrential downpour) during Thanksgiving week I'm headed north and west of the Avenue of the Giants to spend the day along the very short section of coastal road, the Lost Coast highway north of Petrolia. Been there a couple times before but never took the time to stay all day. One day up hiway 1 and the Avenue. Next day ride the Lost Coast and the next day ride back down hiway 1. Also hoping to get some nice fall color pics along the way. Keeping my fingers crossed for good weather. Don't care if its cold as I want to try out my new Tourmaster Synergy electric gloves anyway, just hoping for not too much rain.

I am so jealous. I haven't spent nearly as much time in the redwoods as I would like - I love Big Sur so much it's hard for me to keep going.

Eureka CA. but if the weather's nice, maybe all the way to Gold Beach OR., another favorite spot right where the Rogue River dumps into the Pacific.
