I read this article several years ago , and just thought to throw it back on the table for anyone thinking of upgrading . The damaged powder coat wheels in another thread got me thinking on the topic again of wheel bearings .

A couple other advantages of the ceramics are they are rebuild-able, WWB reuses the balls and changes the races. When they get salt in them and start to corrode the races they won't seize like a steel bearing.

Also ceramic bearings and used in some eletric motors to keep from grounding through and getting pinholes in there.

the motor bearing kits soo many people are running in high hp applications seem to be holding up nicely/same with transmission... no horror stories.

And here I just needed to change the steering head bearings. Ow I want to change all the wheel bearings. Fml
