Hey everyone, I just took a trip to North Cape, Norway from Germany on my '99 Busa and with the weight and everything the rear aluminum Sub-Frame (supports the seats and rear plastic) broke on my. I had it welded (alum) and then it did it again. I guess I just had to much weight for it. I just got another rear sub-frame from a 2006 and I swear it feels heavier. It also has metal welded to the vertical studs and my original did not have that.
My question: Are the new sub-frames STRONGER than the originals? I will weigh the old and the new (2006) to see if there is a weight difference, I am just wondering if Suzuki realized that the overseas market requires a heavier sub-frame.
Thanks for the replies...
