99-07 taillight bulb an 1157?

I have to change my taillight bulb and I was just trying to confirm if it is fact an 1157? The filaments on an 1157 look a little different than the OEM bulb I pulled out?


Any thoughts?

Do the stock blinkers in the rear stay lit when not blinking??Are they a driving light as well??If so its an 1157.Fronts are 1156.

yea, they're lit all the time and are stop lights as well. I thought they were 1157, but I swear they look different on the inside of the bulb. It might look slightly different but function accordingly... hopefully!

You can tell from the offset pins, then its an 1157.I dont think the filaments matter as long as there is 2 in there.

They are 1157s and lots of folks use the sockets in the front to make running lights.

Will they function as running and brake or do LED tail lights solely act as running lights?
