210 tire

will a metzler me880 210/50/17 fit on my stock hayabusa it is extened 3-9 adjustable with a underbraced gsxr 600 swingarm from thompsons

If swingarm is same width as stock then no.
200 is the most on a stock bike.
Chain will hit the tire.

the dealer said that the metzler me880 210/50/17 tire would fit but it is the only one i wasnt sure so just wondering if anyone has done it

not sure if it will fit the stock setup, but I have experience w/ that tire.  I have it on my Warrior.  Turn in is quicker than stock due to the crowning effect of squeezing that size tire on a stock rim.  Also b/c of this, the center will wear much quicker.  Some folks only get ~2000 miles on it, and others get ~4500.  I guess there is some variance depending on riding style and aggressiveness. Even so, alot of folks say the tire tends to wear quicker than most.  With that said, I would buy another for my cruiser.  But for my Busa, I'd prolly go w/ a 200 Pilot Powers or Dunlops.
