210 tire question....

im sportin a battlax 014 200/50/17 now... but with this florida heat, and my burnout fetish, the rubber just falls off... the place i buy all my stuff here in FL, say i could fit a metz me880 210/50/17 anyone have a 210 on their stock arm? i just cant imagine spending 3 or 4 grand for a 240 kit... if i can house a 210 which is a bit smaller. i just wanna know if it will clear everything safely?

check your chain clearance now, if you have over 5mm then it should work. It may look cool but if you like to race like some of us then stick to the lighter 190 or 200. The metzler M1-p comes in an actual 198 even though it is rated at a 190. It seems to be sticky enough to have fun but last over 1k miles unlike some alternatives.
