Hey guys,
Just to see what you guys think.
26 Gen 3 ...0 miles for $21,104 OTD
25 Gen 3 ...0 miles for $19,800 OTD
For the extra $1300 I'm thinking about getting the 26.
He can get either one by next week or first week of December.
Thoughts?
I forgot -$250 from Suzuki on either one of them.

Tough call.....the big question is are the modest improvements worth an extra 1300 dollars? Depends on your riding style and skill, can you take advantage of the modest bump in performance down low, do you accelerate hard from a stand still where the improved launch control will make a difference? If the answer is yes go with the 26 but if the answer is no save 1300 bucks and go with the 25. At the end of the day you can't go wrong with either bike.

Thanks everyone... good points and ideas... I'll be doing exhaust and filter along the ECU but since I'm buying this bike with the insurance money from the one I had, I'm really paying about $3000 out of pocket.. guess that's the reason I'm leaning towards the 26 since it's gonna be my forever bike.. that's what I said about my 23 lol

According to Visordown, the '26 has been tweaked to give it a little more low-down grunt, and the cruise control and launch control have been improved. Is that worth around $1300?? I'd go for the 26.
is their a link to that info or are they speculating? on the suzuki website their was no changes listed.

MCN seems to be reporting the changes for the '25 model for the new '26. Article says "the cruise control system has been altered to remain active during gear changes" but that change was introduced on the '25 model, along with the changes to the launch control. Only the lithium battery, and possibly the throttle mapping are actually new.

$1300 buys a lot of security devices to keep your bike safe. A good high quality disc lock, chain and ground anchor and an alarm and tracker.
For me, if it was 2026 without the additional security or the 2025 with, I’d take the 2025.

Differences would be insignificant to me. There’s nothing mechanical that’s a big deal.

If you are launching hard or competitively you won’t be relying on the quick shifter.

Unless you are riding a totally stock bike you won’t care that the factory mapping is different.
