2022 Trouble shooting my turn signals

Guys,
My turn signal switch on my '22 has stopped working.
It's not that they don't operate its that the switch housing internally feels "broken" and they won't lock in to the direction you click them into.
It almost feels like an internal piece has either come loose or broken inside the housing.
If I hold them in place the signals themselves work.
Anyone else having this problem on a gen 3?

I saw the thread title and wondered why anyone would be shooting a turn signal........LOL!

It sucks that such a thing as a signal light not working on a new bike would happen....

2022 out of warranty.
I parked it until I can disassemble it and see if I can repair it or if I need to replace it.
Dealership wants a 1-hour diagnostic fee...Nope.

Unbelievable! Those switches should last forever. I'd undo the block and have a peek inside, but have a cardboard box right under it so that any loose bits don't hit the floor and vanish. Perhaps it's just a ball or spring come dislodged? Never heard of this happening before on a bike. A car, sure, a woman's car definitely. My ex used to chop the indicator stem with the blade of her hand

Thread '20vs60 LED SwitchBack'

One of my 20LED switchbacks went on the fritz last week. Went to order a replacement and seen a "NEW" 60 LED version for 5 moe bucks. So I bit like any curious sucker would and i bought two...lol.. These will turn the white leds OFF when the amber signal is activated. Always anoyed me with the others as they would illuminate the white leds between amber blinks, which to me, did not make the turn signals amber "flash" stand out as much.
Can't really pick up the brightness levels through pictures; but I can tell a differance when seeing my reflection in vehicles in front of me and...

There is always the switchback modification to assist with nighttime illumination & switches can wear out , so just replace it *
